Attack on Titan Season 3 Episode 13: Release Date and Details

Attack on Titan Season 3 Episode 12 airs later today, and I’m sure that you all are very excited to see what’s going to happen in the next episode. Well, if you’re looking for stuff on Attack on Titan Season 3 Episode 13, I have some news for you. It turns out, you won’t be getting Attack on Titan Season 3 Episode 13 anytime soon.

That’s right; the show is going on a break. Attack on Titan Season 3 will end its first half today. ‘Outside The Walls’ will be the last episode of the first half of Attack on Titan Season 3. Unfortunately, that means you will have to wait for Attack on Titan Season 3 Episode 13 to come out. But for how long? That’s exactly what we will be discussing in today’s post.

First things first, now that Season 3 is over, I think we need to appreciate the fact that Wit Studio handled it with utmost care, and gave us exactly what we wanted. Hajime Isayama’s work was brought to life this year in a beautiful manner.

We all enjoy Attack on Titan, and there’s already a certain standard that we expect from the show now. If you want the remaining half of the season to be equally as good as the first half, if not better, then the wait is necessary. Wit Studio doesn’t have a huge staff, and the animators will have to overwork themselves if they are forced to produce the second half of Attack on Titan Season 3 immediately after Season 2.

They cannot outsource every single episode because there will be no consistency, and frankly, you will all be disappointed. Even the Chief Animation Supervisor can only do so much. To give us better content, and to maintain the standards set by the series, this break is required.

I think Attack on Titan will return in April 2019, because that’s how it should be if it is a split-cour anime. So, there’s your answer. Make sure that you enjoy the finale, and I’m sure that it’ll blow you away.

A total of 15 animation directors have been working on today’s episode, and as I’ve said so many times earlier this week, Norihiro Naganuma is directing the episode. He has previously worked on Mahoutsukai no Yome and the finale of Megalo Box. Expectations are sky-high, so let’s hope the episode blows out mind.
