Attack on Titan Season 3 To Go On A Hiatus

Attack on Titan Season 3 has probably been the best season of the series so far, and we still have ways to go. The eleventh episode of the series aired last Sunday, and now we heading towards the biggest Attack on Titan Season 3 episode yet. That’s right!

Attack on Titan Season 3 Episode 12 will be a mammoth episode, not in terms of runtime, but in terms of action, and plot development. A total of 15 animation directors are working on it, so you can expect some incredible stuff to entertain you next Sunday.

However, along with the biggest Attack on Titan episode ever, there comes bad news. Unfortunately, there will be no more Attack on Titan in this month, at least. If you didn’t know already, Attack on Titan Season 3, I’d say actually a split-cour anime.

Attack on Titan Season 3 To Go On A Hiatus

The first cour of the anime will wrap up on next Sunday, and after that, we are in for a long break. Those who checked the airing timeslot of Attack on Titan can confirm that the show will not air for at least three weeks. It may, or may not return in November.

What we believe is that we will see Attack on Titan Season 3 return in January, because that’s how split-cour anime usually work. We have already seen Overlord, and Tokyo Ghoul re work similarly earlier this year, and it seems Attack on Titan is doing the same thing with Season 3.

I must say, this may annoy a lot of fans, but believe me, this is for the best. If you really want to enjoy Attack on Titan Season 3, then the best thing to do is to wait and give Wit Studio time to create a masterpiece. If it is back before January, that’s good news for the fans as well, but I don’t expect it to return before January 2019.

Attack on Titan Season 3 will air its last episode, called ‘Outside the Walls’ next Sunday. There are some unofficial sites like KissAnime that allow you to watch Attack on Titan Season 3. However, please support the official release by streaming the episode over Crunchyroll, or Funimation and help the anime industry. Attack on Titan Season 3 Episode 12 will air on 14 October 2018.
