One Piece Episode 857 – Gear 4 Luffy Strikes Back!

After getting what was, without a doubt, the best One Piece episode this year, we’re heading into an exciting territory in the series. One Piece Episode 856 was incredible, and you could already see it coming due to the amount of build-up that it got. In this post, we’ll be talking about One Piece Episode 857.

Luffy be Katakuri has been going on for quite a while now, and in this episode, significant steps were taken. After ending the first round, Katakuri thought that Luffy was done for. He was already 40 minutes later for his Merienda, and as he ate, we saw what his real face looked like. Katakuri didn’t want people to see this. However, because of Luffy, the chefs saw it.

This made Katakuri lose his cool because nobody was ever allowed to see what he really looks like. He attacked the chef, and pummeled Luffy; only for Luffy to retaliate with a kick that connected. Katakuri’s Observation Haki is not working. The thing is, Observation Haki works only when a person is calm.

Since Katakuri is the exact opposite of that, there is no doubt that Luffy has seen through it, and is trying to take advantage of this. In the upcoming episode of One Piece, Luffy will deliver some very powerful blows to Katakuri. A bunch of his moves will connect, and since Katakuri won’t be able to use his Haki properly, he’ll be on the back foot.

However, a while later, Katakuri regains his composure, and this is exactly where things will start getting bad for Luffy. Once again, Katakuri will start attacking and counterattacking with ferocious powers. Luffy’s Gear 4 will be useless once again, and he will be left with no option but to use whatever is in his arsenal. Long story short, Gear 4 will fail against Charlotte Katakuri, because the guy is a legendary, undefeated monster.
