Resident Evil 2 Remake Reveals A Familiar Monster

Fans are waiting for the upcoming remake of Resident Evil 2, and the recent revelations fired up the community. The upcoming remake of the former game will have a familiar monster who goes by the name of Licker. Those who have played the original Resident Evil 2, are familiar with this monster but, Licker in the upcoming Resident Evil 2 Remake is far from what you can even imagine.

Well, I exaggerated a little bit but, can you really blame me because the upcoming game will be so much superior to the former one in terms of graphics and Licker looks extremely terrifying.

For those who don’t know about Licker, its a zombie, and you can find it in the game crawling, wandering here and there, and has a pretty ugly appearance. The zombie is mutilated, and you can see its brains popping out, definitely the type that can give you nightmares. The monster has a bad reputation as well because of its long range attacks.

The image of the monster was posted on Twitter, and fans are losing it. In the original Resident Evil 2 (1998), the monster was encountered when the main character was moving through the hallway, there were dead bodies on the floor, and while inspecting, a torn head fell right in front of him. It was then Licker made its appearance, slithering on the roof. With its brain popping out, and long tongue, it looked gruesome but, Licker was taken care off immediately without much hassle.

New screenshots and gameplay have been revealed which showcased the zombies and the original characters of the game including Leon and Claire Redfield. The graphics look absolutely amazing, and it was also revealed that calling this game a remake won’t be a good idea as it will have tons of changes, so fans are extremely excited for it.

The all-time classic getting a reboot is what everyone was waiting for, and as we’re getting closer to the release date, the hype will only increase, and we’re all looking forward to more revelations down the road.

Resident Evil 2 Remake Release Date:

Resident Evil 2 Remake will be released on 25th January 2019, and it will be available for PC, Xbox One and PS4.
