Dragon Ball Super: Broly Spoilers – No Ultra Instinct In The Movie

Dragon Ball Super: Broly just finished its World Premiere at the Nippon Budokan event, and there are lots of spoilers leaking out already. While I will be covering them in a separate post, this is something that I felt I should address separately. That’s what I will be doing in this post, but before we get there, I just want to warn you guys of the spoilers that you may encounter here.

If you don’t want to be spoiled, then I suggest you stop reading the post here. However, if spoilers don’t bother you, we can get started on this topic.

Dragon Ball Super: Broly Spoilers

Right, so Gogeta is in the film. As we’ve stated so many times before, Gogeta is going to make an appearance, and he’s going to fight against Broly. At the same time, some people have raised the question of whether we’ll be seeing Ultra Instinct in the movie as well. The answer to they is, No. We won’t be seeing Ultra Instinct, sadly. Gogeta Blue is just enough to take down Broly, and so Ultra Instinct isn’t needed. Besides, who knows if Goku could even tap into Ultra Instinct in the first place?!

It seems Goku and Vegeta both fight Broly individually at first, and later on, they fight him together. Both the times, they fail at beating him. Ultimately, they do resort to using the Metamoran Fusion, and that’s what leads to the birth of Veku first. After doing it again, Gogeta is born, and we proceed to see him take Broly down.

Here’s a synopsis of the movie for those of you who are interested:
“Earth is peaceful again after the Tournament of Power. Realizing that the Universes still hold many stronger people yet to see, Goku spends all his days training to reach even greater heights. Then one day, Goku and Vegeta are faced by a Saiyan called “Broly,” who they’ve never seen before. This encounter between three Saiyans who have followed completely different destinies turns into a stupendous battle, with even Freeza getting caught up in the mix!”
