Dragon Ball Super’s Return In 2019: Is It Coming Back?
Hey everyone! In this post, I’ll be talking about Dragon Ball Super: Broly, and what the future of the franchise will be once the movie is over. As I write this, the Dragon Ball Super: Broly movie is being aired at Nippon Budokan event in Tokyo, and that means the movie’s spoilers will be out shortly as well. I will try my best to share the spoilers will you guys when I get my hands on them, so please check Otakukart regularly.
Dragon Ball Super’s Return
Now, let’s get to our topic of discussion, and that’s whether Dragon Ball Super will return after Broly or not. Now, I know there is a fair chance that it may not return, but I’m here to bring up two major points for why it will be back in 2019. I firmly believe that Dragon Ball Super isn’t over, and we’re going to see more very soon.
The first reason is the end of the Broly movie. Now those of you who want to avoid spoilers for the film, please stop reading here. I warned you. At the end of the Dragon Ball Super: Broly movie, we get to see Broly survive his fight against Gogeta. This is mainly because Chiele wishes for him to be saved.
If Dragon Ball wasn’t planning something with Broly’s character here, I don’t see the point of saving him. Now, this is certainly a hint that Super MAY be up to something, and just may return. The other major hint is that during Jump Festa 2019, Dragon Ball Super has its panel.
This event will be on December 25th, 2018, and that’s way after the movie premieres. At this event, there’s a huge Dragon Ball announcement, and the panel will include Masako Nozawa (Goku’s Voice Actor), and more surprisingly, Bin Shimada (Broly’s Voice Actor), among others.
This is an implication that they may be doing the Dragon Ball Super Broly movie in the anime next year, and that’s going to be our first arc. I’d be curious to know what you think about Dragon Ball Super’s return, so hit me up in the comments section!
