One Piece Chapter 925: Wano Act 2 Begins!

One Piece 924 was one of my favorites from the Wano Country arc. I think this arc has the potential to surpass even Marineford and that’s not a surprise since Oda has been talking about Wano since Thriller Bark. You just know that this arc will be the greatest one ever in One Piece. I think the next chapter is going to be pretty incredible, and my hopes rest on Wano Act 2 starting with a bang.

The previous chapter gave us everything that we wanted. We got to see Luffy thrown in a cell. I’ve always wanted to see a Luffy rescue Arc, and Oda has delivered here. We got to see Tama being saved, the Strawhats being saved, and even an introduction of a new character who has been in Kaido’s cell for too long now.

Whoever it is, the man’s a total badass as he took down a Beasts crew member by a mere fishbone. I cannot help but get Rayleigh vibes from Sabaody, who was imprisoned similarly. Hopefully, this guy will be a legendary figure as well.

In the next chapter, we may get to see Kid and Luffy interacting. I’m sure that Kid will tell Luffy something that we don’t know about Kaido if they do talk. It is also evident that Kid will join the alliance, later on, so he cannot be on bad terms with Monkey D Luffy. I presume that we will also see the crew reuniting, and setting off to save Luffy. That’s what they have to do now because Luffy cannot stay there for two whole weeks.

In my opinion, Luffy will be there for a week and will train for one week after that until the Onigashima raid arrives. It’ll be interesting to see who leads the group that wants to rescue Luffy, but my bet is on Law, and maybe Shutenmaru. If Killer arrives, he may prove to be helpful as well, and I’m eagerly waiting for his reappearance in the Wano arc. Unfortunately, One Piece is on break next week, so we’ll have to wait two weeks for the next chapter to come out.
