Jigen’s “Otsutsuki” Form Revealed in “Boruto” Manga

As we know Jigen has been lurking in the dark and we didn’t know much about him or his past up until the Boruto chapter 35. In this chapter, we saw Sai has sent Sasuke Uchiha to the coordinates which were disclosed in Konohamaru’s retrieved pen drive. Sai also mentioned that enemy sort of wanted them to find it and seems like an obvious trap.

Then Sasuke Uchiha was shown travelling to this dimension using his space-time ninjutsu. Here he was shown on a sort of stage near which Otsutsuki pair’s logos could be seen. Upon touching the logos, holograms of the Otsutsuki appeared. We saw Kaguya Otsutsuki, Momoshiki Otsutsuki, Kinshiki Otsutsuki and an altogether new Otsutsuki which appeared to be Kaguya Otsutsuki’s partner in crime. There were two more Otsutsuki logos but they were destroyed.

Then under this stage was a ten tailed beast tamed using chakra rods. Suddenly, Jigen appeared using space-time ninjutsu as well. He went near this ten tails and using his karma extracted some of his chakra and transformed into the Otsutsuki that looked like Kaguya Otsutsuki’s partner.

This confirmed that Jigen is actually an Otsutsuki himself. He also told ten tails that he can eat him after he has his vessel. So, what could these words mean? I think that Jigen’s body is actually a host body controlled by an Otsutsuki which had been Kaguya Otsutsuki’s partner.

Now, for some reason, this Otsutsuki needs a new body and is slowly transferring himself to Kawaki’s body using his karma. After the transformation is complete ten tails can then have his body, which actually makes sense. After this Jigen said that he shall and greet these two vessels.

The two vessels being Kawaki his own and Boruto Uzumaki who is Momoshiki Otsutsuki’s vessel. Yes, that is right Boruto Uzumaki is sort of the new age jinchuriki of the Otsutsuki known as Momoshiki Otsutsuki. The manga of Boruto has just levelled up and has taken a turn for good. This chapter has filled the hearts of the fans with joy. The new chapter of Boruto manga will release in V Jump on 20 July 2019.
