Call of Duty: Black Ops 4-New Video Reveals The Origins of Zombie Mode
Only a few days left for ‘Call of Duty: Black Ops 4,’ and recently, for the occasion a new video was released which discussed the origins of Zombies, which has become one of the key factors of Call of Duty games. The upcoming game is no stranger, as despite lacking an actual story campaign, the zombie mode has been kept, and it looks better than ever. So let’s look at the video.
Call of Duty: Black Ops 4: Origins of Zombie Mode:
The video features the senior executive producer, Jason Blundell, the main guy behind the zombie content that fans love and in the video, he explains the origins of the mode and the impact it has made over the past years. The Zombies mode made its debut in Call of Duty: World at War and it was an easter egg. To unlock it, players had to complete the entire campaign.
According to Jason Blundell, the game was heavily focused on the theme of the story and Zombies mode was just an additional content which was very experimental, so they didn’t promote or market it at all. But, after the community played it, there was a new wave which demanded more of the content, so they kept on adding Zombie mode in every new Call of Duty game after that.
He said that the popularity and growth of the Zombie mode had been very fast and he thanks the community for their input which has driven them into taking risks to come up with different creative contents over the years. He describes their feelings while creating those new contents as 70% fear and 30% excitement. He also tells that the maps of Call of Duty: Black Ops 4 is one of the most ‘innovative,’ and ‘challenging,’ that they’ve ever created.
Call of Duty: Black Ops 4 will have a total of 14 multiplayer maps, Zombie mode, and its own Battle Royale mode which is called “The Blackout.”
Call of Duty: Black Ops 4 Release Date:
