Trinity Seven Season 2 Release Date

The Trinity Seven anime was released quite a long time ago. It’s twelfth and final episode was released on December 24, 2014.  That’s quite a long time now, even to anime standards. However, there’s still no new season announced for this anime and therefore, no release date for season 2. The first thirty chapters of the manga (or seven volumes) were the base for the first season of the anime. The manga is still ongoing, and it is on its 18th volume.

There’s a lot of chapters to adapt for another anime season. Maybe two new seasons might actually be adapted with the current materials. Why is it that Trinity Seven season 2 is still out of grasp? What are the plans for the series? There’s a lot of questions, and I will try to put down possible reasons why the anime is still not on the way.

Trinity Seven Season 2 Updates

First of all, there are rumors about the anime being premiered on April 2019. However, I checked their official website, and there’s no official announcement of the rumor being true. Second thing, the manga will only have an anime when sales are good or bad. Either way, the reason for both of this is to promote the manga sales via anime. And last but not the least, the licensing is chaotic, and the series was passed down a lot in four years. It was in Crunchyroll during its first season on 2014. In 2015, Madman Entertainment bought the license for the series; this is followed by Sentai Filmworks in 2016 and KSM Anime (the current owner of the license) in 2017.

But fans are not hopeless either, a Trinity Seven season 2 might still happen in the future. The manga is still ongoing, and the fanbase is still there. A second film adaptation is in production, and maybe the showrunners are testing the waters via a film to see if there’s still a good fanbase.
