Detective Conan Gets Two Special Episodes
Detective Conan is one of the longest running anime/manga series. It has provided fans with great content over the years, and it is still going strong. Today, I’m bringing you some big news about the show. It has been confirmed that Detective Conan is getting a two part animated episode. The episode will be released in January. The episode is focused on the relationship between Shinichi Kudo and Ran Mori during a high school trip to Kyoto.
The first part will air on January 5 and the second part will air on January 12. For those who are wondering where the episode has been taken from then allow me to enlighten you. The episode is based on the “Kurenai no Shugaku-Ryoko hen” (the crimson school trip arc) of the original manga series. The arc was published in six parts for the manga in order to celebrate its 1,000th episode.
The arc became really popular among the fans. In the special, we will see Shinichi, who regains his true form after consuming the medicine created by Ai Haibara. Shinichi joins Ran and his classmates on a school trip. Suddenly, they find themselves in the middle of a serial murder case which involves a “tengu” ogre in Kyoto.
It will be interesting to see what becomes of Shinichi and Ran. Will they really take things to the next level? Shinichi has told Ran about his feelings back in London. But, Ran is still indecisive, and it will be worth seeing if she feels the same.
Here is the synopsis of the show if you’re interested—
The son of a world famous mystery writer, Shinichi Kudo, has achieved his own notoriety by assisting the local police as a student detective. He has always been able to solve the most difficult of criminal cases using his wits and power of reason.
